COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

The health and safety of event attendees, company volunteers and Crest Hollow Country Club staff is our number one priority. As such, a full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test will be required to attend the GILI Sweet 16 Gala Luncheon.

The last day to receive the second shot of Moderna or Pfizer, or a single dose of Johnson and Johnson is Thursday, October 21. For attendees who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of the event.

To verify your vaccination status, we ask that attendees present a valid ID AND proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test (digitally or print out) within the past 72 hours at our registration/check-in desk the morning of the event.

This year’s Gala Luncheon, including cocktails, lunch and awards ceremony, will take place entirely indoors at Crest Hollow Country Club. Masks will be required for all attendees when indoors and not seated for eating (i.e. mingling, using restroom, bar). We request that all individuals wear a mask at all times while attending the event, aside from participating in an activity that cannot be performed while wearing a mask, such as eating and drinking. Crest Hollow Country Club staff will also be required to wear face masks.

We also ask that you not attend the event if any of the following is true for you or anyone attending from your company:

·        Within 14 days before attending the event you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

·        Within 48 hours prior to attending the event, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4 or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

·        Within 14 days prior to attending the event you have traveled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

Crest Hollow Country Club will have increased hand sanitizer stations on site, and cleaning crews will do frequent cleanings in high touch areas.

Finally, attendees should not attend the event if they feel ill. Should you feel ill prior to the event, we recommend staying home and notifying Anne Seifried at aseifried@girlsinclongisland.org
